Finding Opportunities and Resources to Grow Entrepreneurs
At the University of Arizona, FORGE is a unit within Research, Innovation, and Impact. Its two key missions are to inspire and cultivate entrepreneurial thinking in every student (FORGE’d at UA) and to operate business innovation hubs in which corporate innovation, startup acceleration, and experiential education can take place (FORGE Ahead).
FORGE'd at UA
Students cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset through FORGE supported activities: maker fests, innovation challenges, hackathons, student startup clubs, and internships. The centerpiece is a four year Venture Pathway program in partnership with local startups, angel investors, and VCs.
FORGE Ahead
Startups grow in FORGE accelerators with an individualized team of coaches, mentors, and industry experts. Students engage in hands-on learning and launch careers. Businesses expand by licensing and commercializing technology, running projects with students, and enriching their potential with an educated, experienced team passionate about developing disruptive technologies and bringing them to market.
