FORGE at UA Launches First Innovation Challenge!
FORGE at UA is proud to partner with the Dean of Students Office and the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health to present an exciting opportunity for students this fall: the #BearDownMaskUp Challenge!
Students: Do you have a creative idea to encourage your peers to #MaskUp and stay physically distanced? Submit a proposal to the #BearDownMaskUp Challenge to compete for the chance to be the student voice keeping campus healthy—and win some cash!
The submission window will be open October 1-5; winners will be announced on October 7.
The esteemed judges evaluating the submissions to the #BearDownMaskUp Challenge are:
- Kendal Washington White (Dean of Students)
- Brian Ellerman (Director, FORGE)
- Lori Schultz (RII, Research Re-Entry Task Force)
- Jeremy Shockley (Startup Founder)
- Mohan Tanniru (MEZCOPH Faculty)
- A student from the Master's of Public Health program
Judged for creativity, public health advocacy and feasibility, the selected submissions will be deployed campus-wide as a part of an ongoing effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.
We are so thrilled about all of our programs and the new opportunities for students to get involved with FORGE!
