FORGE-ing The Way for Student Entrepreneurs with Student-Made Store
Are you a University of Arizona student intrigued by the idea of turning your hobby or passion project into an actual venture? We know being an entrepreneur is never an easy path to take, especially when you are juggling being a student at the same time. FORGE is excited to announce the arrival of Student-Made at the University of Arizona campus. Student-Made is a unique online shop that supports student creators by giving them a space to buy and sell products and interact with other student creators.
Student-Made was originally established on eight campuses in 2019. After the first interaction with its founder, Lindsay Reeth, the Student Venture Pathways team saw that this was a valuable opportunity for creative and entrepreneurially-minded students. The SVP team has been diligently working with partners across campus to make Student-Made part of the Wildcat Community. Plans are underway for Student-Made to be on campus for the Fall 2024 semester.
Student-Made is designed for student-use, which means that you can join a community with other students like you that are trying to further their ventures, or become a student manager and help build the community. On the platform, students can buy, sell, promote, and create their own products.
If any of these positions spark your interest, please visit the Student-Made Arizona website to apply. Check out the website to learn more about the program and the student creators.
