Gavin Milczarek-Desai

Gavin Milczarek-Desai is the Executive Director of the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic (IP Clinic) at the James E. Rogers College of Law.  The IP Clinic is a legal clinic that counsels individuals, startups, and ongoing businesses on securing, maintaining, and protecting their intellectual property (IP) rights, including rights in patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights. Prior to becoming the Executive Director of the Clinic, Gavin practiced IP law for twenty years in Tucson and managed the office of a large national law firm for ten years.  He is a double Wildcat, having earned his J.D. and a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona.
