Are you an international student or a student learning remotely looking for campus connections with peers?

The University Pen Pals program creates community while socially distanced. The program pairs international and remote students with on-campus pen pals. Pairs can then connect through writing letters, emailing and/or participating in Zoom calls. The University Pen Pals program will provide a way for international and remote students to make connections to students on campus without risk of exposure to COVID-19. The program was featured in an article on the College of Fine Art's website, where the founder Christina Calden explains her motivation in starting the program as: "Many students aren’t even in Tucson and I wanted them to still feel connected to the university despite not being on campus.”.
