We were thrilled to be one of ten recipients of the 2021 Common Ground Award from the Metropolitan Pima Alliance for the renovation of FORGE at Roy Place in downtown Tucson.

The award recognizes projects all over Pima County that create a prosperous community by promoting collaborative real estate development policies, building partnerships and finding common ground.

Renovations started in 2019 and the building serves as the home for both FORGE at Roy Place and FORGE Ahead. The 20,000+ sq ft space in the heart of downtown Tucson houses educational and community programming, including access to mentors and coaches committed to helping the startup ecosystem thrive in Tucson, and beyond.

The building will also host off‐campus interaction for FORGE at UA participants, bridging opportunities for students to gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience alongside startup ventures and corporate partners

In this way, Arizona FORGE strengthens UA‐community connections, assists with downtown urban revitalization, serves as a hub for talent, and provides leadership in addressing the region’s environmental, social and economic needs.

FORGE at Roy Place is also home to Startup Tucson, with their robust suite of programs helping founders at every level, including exciting new plans for a new media and design lab, coming soon! Learn more about this project here.

Join us this Fall when the building will be buzzing with students, founders, and the Tucson community!
