FORGE Peer Venture Coaches Turn Ideas Into Reality and Launch Entrepreneurial Journeys
Thinking about entrepreneurship can feel both exciting and overwhelming in today's fast-paced and competitive environment. When trying to launch a new idea or venture, entrepreneurs can encounter many challenges, uncertainties, and roadblocks, whether aspiring or established. University of Arizona FORGE Student Venture Pathways has a powerful new resource to guide students toward their goals, unlock their potential, and accelerate their success: one-on-one coaching and consulting.
The SVP Peer Venture Coaching/Consulting program offers one-on-one coaching - allowing students to reach their full potential. Students work with different Peer Venture Coaches and SVP staff to develop their ideas into businesses or impact organizations. To serve all students and connect them with relevant campus and community resources, the coaches want to get to know them.
Whether you already have a clear idea for a venture, or are just seeking guidance in identifying the perfect opportunity, this program is tailored to meet your needs. FORGE believes that the entrepreneurial spirit knows no boundaries, and welcomes students from all disciplines and backgrounds. FORGE aims to empower you to take the first steps towards your dreams, regardless of location or prior experience.
Conducted by the members of the Peer Venture Coaching Team, these sessions provide a unique opportunity for you to explore, refine, and transform your ideas into reality. The team is committed to providing you with the guidance, resources, and support needed to map out successful ventures. As startup founders themselves, they understand the startup system and the opportunities that lie ahead, enabling them to assist you in navigating challenges and securing opportunities.
A key advantage of the PVC program is its flexibility. As a team, they understand that every student's journey is unique. Each coach is dedicated to accommodating individual needs. Whether you prefer in-person meetings, virtual Zoom sessions, or a combination of both, coaches will work with you to create a plan that suits your schedule and location. The aim is to ensure students can access Student Venture Pathways resources and support, no matter where they are. The Peer Venture Coaching team believes that every student at UArizona should have access to the resources and support necessary to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, and these coaching sessions are completely free of cost. If interested, submit THIS form. Once received, staff will reach out to schedule an appointment for you with one of our staff or peer venture coaches. Consults vary in length, but initial appointments are usually about 60 minutes. Come prepared to talk about yourself, your goals, your venture idea, what you’ve worked on so far, and any questions you may have.
