FORGE Ahead welcomes House Trevethan
FORGE is proud to welcome House Trevethan to this year’s FORGE Ahead accelerator program. Based in Tucson, House Trevethan provides software solutions to small businesses while also providing learning, training and job opportunities to developers. The company provides white-glove service to clients while offering customized software approaches fitted to their business needs. House Trevethan aims to fill a gap in the market by addressing the need for small businesses to receive the same service and tools as Enterprise level organizations. Owner Heidi Trevethan identifies as both a Managing Partner and Nerd Whisperer and takes pride in the level of service her company offers.
“Technology projects can be overwhelming,” said Heidi Trevethan. “Having a proper, vetted tech roadmap in place before building any project is the key to success. Proper documentation and processes along with kindness goes a long way!”
House Trevethan first discovered FORGE through attending a class at StartUp Tucson. From there, the team learned more about FORGE by utilizing the complimentary co-working space offered to the public on Thursdays. The team visited several times and connected with FORGE Mentor in Residence John Achoukian and FORGE Founding Executive Director Brian Ellerman. Through Achoukian and Ellerman, the team learned more about the resources offered by the FORGE Ahead accelerator program and were invited to apply. House Trevethan is excited to be part of FORGE Ahead and see it as an important resource to growing their business and creating opportunities to connect with mentors and VC’s. Heidi Trevethan also values being part of a thriving startup community and the ability to connect with both students and other startup entrepreneurs through FORGE.
Trevethan’s advice to other startup entrepreneurs is “Start Lean if you can and don't give up even when you want to!”
