FORGE at Roy Place

FORGE provides venture resources in several locations throughout Arizona.  FORGE currently has three locations on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson. FORGE also maintains locations in downtown Tucson, Phoenix, and Yuma.

Located in the heart of downtown Tucson’s urban corridor at the corner of Stone and Pennington, FORGE at Roy Place is easily accessible via the streetcar making it an ideal location to connect the campus to the community.  The 22,000-square-foot Spanish colonial revival building was designed and built by architect Roy Place nearly a century ago. Today it serves as a dedicated resource hub for campus, community, and capital.

As part of our Thursday series, FORGE at Roy Place hosts presentations from 9am - 10am, community co-working from 10am - 4pm, and on-site mentoring from 10am - 12pm.  In addition to FORGE programming, the building also houses important community partners including Startup TucsonBlueStone Venture Partners, and the Tucson City of Gastronomy.  On Thursdays, you'll find drop-in mentoring available from our dedicated FORGE Mentor in Residence John Achoukian, and mentoring for food-based ventures from onsite Tucson City of Gastronomy mentors.  Be sure to check out our calendar of Thursday events and reserve your spot!

FORGE at Roy Place also hosts several resident startup companies as part of the FORGE Ahead™ program.  Many go on to national caliber accelerators, significant venture capital raises, or acquisitions.

As part of the mission to be a resource to the campus and the community, FORGE at Roy Place offers a boardroom, classroom, and reception spaces.  If you are interested in reserving space for an upcoming event, please contact our events assistant at hollybrenna@arizona.edu.  Visit FORGE at Roy Place to see what resources are available for you!
