Engineer Your World Challenge

Virtual classrooms are the new normal, but for some class activities, Zoom just doesn’t cut it. When we can’t be in the same physical space, how can we use technology to improve our visual, hands-on, and collaborative classroom experiences?

The College Of Engineering and Arizona FORGE are excited to introduce the Engineer Your World Challenge in hopes of solving this very problem. Teams of two to four students will develop concepts to solve challenges of remote learning through use of technology and 3D models, from effectively delivering remote labs to facilitating group design projects.

Three winning teams will receive a bursar’s credit of $1,000 and will work with the College of Engineering in the spring of 2021 on a proof of concept that may include elements of all three projects.
