Applying to the FORGE Advanced Entrepreneur Program

 

The Advanced Entrepreneur Program (AEP) is a Seed Accelerator where early stage startups meet over 8 weeks and refine their idea, with over 40 hours of rigorous business development programming, from customer discovery to learning how to run their own board meetings.

 

Entrepreneurs will work with leading business experts and mentors, as well as their cohort in peer-to-peer learning environment, to validate their idea and develop their business foundation. The curriculum will cover the skills and tasks needed to grow a profitable and scalable business.

 

How our the Advanced Entrepreneur Program works:

  • We run the Advanced Entrepreneur Program (AEP) 3 times per year, where up to 12 teams are selected to participate from a competitive application process.

  • Over an 8-week period, the AEP consists of 6 days of intensive live programming covering business fundamentals key to building a scalable business


Program Curriculum:

Opening Reception // Thursday, Mar 11 @ 4:00 pm (AZ)

  • MODULE 1 // Saturday, Mar 13 – Intro Pitch + Lean Startup + Value Proposition
  • MODULE 2 // Saturday, Mar 20 – Customer Discovery + Market Mapping
    •  off-week (Research)
  • MODULE 3 // Saturday, Apr 3 – Team Building
  • MODULE 4 // Saturday, Apr 10 – Business Model + Due Diligence
    • off-week (Pitch Prep)
  • MODULE 5 // Saturday, Apr 24 – Final Pitch + Mock Board Meetings w/ Mentors
    • Funding Your Startup Panel

Closing Reception // Thursday, Apr 29 @ 4:00 pm (AZ) 

Each module takes place on a Saturday via Zoom from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (AZ)

Startups will meet with over 30 experienced mentors, subject matter experts, and investors, each dedicated to helping you thrive as a founder and push you to succeed!

 


Selection Criteria. Can you say yes to these questions?

  • For the W21 cohort only. At least one of our founding team members is female-identifying
  • I have identified a specific and important problem 
  • I have a concept (product or service) for how to solve this problem
  • I know who my target customer is and I have done enough research to know there is a market for my product or service
  • I understand the size of the market I'm entering, and have though about how much of the market I want to capture
  • I know how my business makes money

Yes, the W21 programming will be run completely online.

No, the program is open to anyone who meets our selection criteria.

No, the program does not have any cost for participants.

 

Yes, both for-profit and non-profit teams are eligible to apply.

Our programs are not limited to venture-backed business models. If you do want to pursue investors, we can connect you to our network when your startup is ready, but that is not a core part of this program. We focus on supporting you in building a sustainable and revenue-generating business.

No, for the W21 cohort, teams from any location will be considered.
